Black Isle Brewery & Farm Update March 7th 22

Organic Farm

Our organic brewery farm is called Allangrange, or Allann-Chrain, which translates as 'a fertile field of corn' – the perfect place for a brewery! We know that people have been living and farming here for millenia and we’ve always wondered what might be lying around beneath the soil, so we asked a small group of metal detectorists to have a look.

So far there’s no sign of any treasure chests, but Len and his team have found plenty of coins, including an 1855 Napoleon III Ten Centime and an 1815 George III Half Crown. We’ll keep you updated as the hunt goes on!

Brewery Shop

If you've visited our shop in the last 20 years, you may well have met the wonderful Christine. Christine works every Saturday with a smile on her face and the dogs clearly lover her!
