Black Isle Win Best Brewed at the HIFAD Awards 2018

We’re delighted to win this year’s Highlands and Islands ‘Best Brewed’ at this year’s Highlands and Islands Food and Drink awards. Celebrating the night with hundreds of other Scottish companies at the Kingsmill hotel in Inverness, we were treated an incredible evening of local food, wine and of course, Black Isle beer!

Scotland is well known and loved for its tasty produce, with over £1 billion worth of export from the Highlands alone. We’ve been part of that since 1998, and were delighted to win ‘Best Brewed’ at this year’s Highlands and Islands Food and Drink awards on October 5th.

We stay true to nature and in doing so, means we choose organic ingredients for all the beers made at our brewery; one of the reasons cited for our win. Whilst this costs us up to three times as much for hops, we believe it’s worth it and important for us, and for the earth!
