Treehouse Ecosia Partnership
Help us to restore biodiversity with our friends from Ecosia, the not-for-profit search engine that has planted over 170 million trees worldwide. Ecosia are currently engaged in more than 60 projects across 32 countries, partnering with local communities to restore and protect biodiversity whilst providing a sustainable future for all.
Our conversations with Ecosia inspired us to brew Treehouse Pale Ale - our tribute to the woodlands of the world and the communities they support. In partnership with Ecosia, half of all profits from this unfiltered organic pale ale will go towards tree planting and habitat restoration in partnership with local communities around the world.
At Black Isle, looking after the environment has been at the heart of what we do for 24 years. On our 130 acre organic farm, we have created new ponds, wetlands and woodland habitats, planting over 7000 trees and giving nature space to thrive alongside our biodynamic market garden and flock of Hebridean sheep. We’ve improved our soil health by sowing clover to fix nitrogen out of the atmosphere and our livestock provide the fields with plenty of manure - nature’s finest fertiliser.
Having created this oasis in an intensively farmed landscape, we want to do more to share our story and encourage others to take the same path.
Treehouse Pale Ale is available online, in our brewery shop and bars. Enjoy yours and help make a difference.
