Basket Making with Tim Palmer

Learn the basics of basketweaving with professional basket-maker, Tim Palmer. His pieces have included the use of New Zealand flax, hair moss, willow bark, day lily and rush alongside the more traditional birch and willow techniques, acknowledging a variety of influences. Make something for yourself - or for a unique and sustainable gift for someone else.

Includes organic tea, coffee and cake for the late morning break. Please bring a light lunch, drink, a sharp knife (not Stanley), sharp secateurs, a smooth 1kg weight and an old bath towel.

9.30am for 10am start - 4pm. Meet in the Lecture Room (ask for directions at Black Isle Brewery shop if unable to find.
